Another year comes to an end already? And it's been a rough one, hasn't it? As always, I think it's best to try to remember the good things. So here are few of mine... ![]() On the red carpet at the premiere of FINAL RECOVERY January started off with Chase Dudley's THE DESPERATE (script by yours truly) going into preproduction and me getting interviewed by Michael J. Epstein and Sophia Cacciola for their horror-themed documentary series. I also worked on post-production elements for THE MYSTERY OF EMMA THORN February invlolved lots of auditions and some of the final spotting sessions for the score of THE MYSTERY OF EMMA THORN via the talent of composer Everett Young, creator of the score for Jason Horton's CRAVING in which I played beleaguered cowboy Travis.

In March I did some screenplay consulting work on an exciting new script and Evertte's team and I finalized the score for THE MYSTERY OF EMMA THORN. April found me at the premiere of Harley Wallin's new film FINAL RECOVERY, starring Charlene Tilton and longtime friend Jasper Cole. Chris Carlone and I also completed the final sound mix for THE MYSTERY OF EMMA THORN. In May, thanks to my amazing post-production crew, THE MYSTERY OF EMMA THORN came to completion. So the rest of the month meant preparing the film for festivals, organizing a premiere screening for cast and crew...and enlisting talented artist Gaz Jackson to create our official poster! June meant the release of teaser trailers for both THE MYSTERY OF EMMA THORN (which you can watch below and here) and Adam Steigert's OMBIS 2: Alien Awakening where I play nutty scientist Dr. Hackman. You can see that trailer here). The teaser for THE MYSTERY OF EMMA THORN July brought the release of the full, official trailer for THE MYSTERY OF EMMA THORN which you can watch below. The official trailer for THE MYSTERY OF EMMA THORN August saw my silly horror/comedy spoof GARDEN PARTY MASSACRE re-released on Amazon Prime. (You can watch it here.) We also had a cast & crew & friends screening of THE MYSTERY OF EMMA THORN! In September, THE MYSTERY OF EMMA THORN had its world premiere at the famous TCL Chinese Theater in Hollywood and won the Platinum Award for Best Narrative Feature in the International Independent Film Awards! And TRICK AND TREATS, a horror film I'm in, had its World Premiere as well! Then THE MYSTERY OF EMMA THORN arrived on Amazon!
